Dear Konyin,
Once whilst a counsel in your practice, I had the privilege of sharing a car ride with your mother on the way to Ibadan for a court date. I still remember vividly her warmth and kindly disposition. She made a deep impression on me that day with her goodness. Radiating love, cheerfulness, strong support and prayerful fidelity. A true mother to all.
Permit me to share your great loss in some small measure. May her path upwards be blessed.

Dear Dr Ajayi
Sorry to hear the demise of your dear mother. I quote from Maya Angelou who said that she has learnt that "regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life."
Any words of consolation cannot reduce the grief you and your family is undergoing now. I pray God Almighty to give you and your family the stregth to bear this irreparable loss. Time is the only healer.
Incidentally, I liked the quote from Bhagavat Gita-how true these words are.
