For certain is death for the born
And certain is birth for the dead;
Therefore over the inevitable
Thou shouldst not grieve.
Bhagavad GitaThis memorial website was created to remember our dearest mother, Adunola Ajayi who was born in Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria on March 4, 1930 and passed away at 12.50pm on December 6, 2007. She will live forever in our memories and hearts.
You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she's gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

As human beings, if we had our way, we would have prevented this passing away, but the wisdom of God surpasses all our knowledge, and to Him be all the glory for a worthy life spent by Mama. In the 24 years I knew her, I can say that she was a rare breed by God, and the Holy Angels of God confirmed this by their assertion that Mama laboured on earth according to God's directives and in death, she has found the favour and goodwill of the Almighty. What more can one ask for, at the passing away of one's beloved. Sleep on mama we will forever remember you.
